My kids are interested in archery, can they come to a class? That's great, all kids aged 12 and over can join a class. We assess children aged 10 and over on a case by case basis. There are a few reasons for this.
The first being that we want everyone to enjoy our classes and we find that children under 12 often have difficulty drawing back the bows which makes shooting difficult.
Another reason is that its an important time as far a child's physical development, we don't want any kids to affected by pain or discomfort because of archery.
For these reasons we prefer that a parent/guardian participate in the class with their child/children so the kids can be closely monitored.
No, none at all.
Just yourself! Equipment hire is included in the cost of the lessons.
What about adults?
Everyone over the age of 12 can join one of our classes. They are usually a mix of families, adults attending by themselves or with friends, couples and kids.
Depending which class you book, your session of lessons will consist of three or four lessons each being two hours in duration.
We have a variety of cold drinks for sale and offer free tea and coffee to all guests of our club. Sometimes, if there are enough people interested, we will run a canteen where lunch can be purchased.
For safety reasons and enclosed shoes. Wear a fitted shirt and tie back any long hair as they can get caught up in the bow.
It depends on the length of course. All of our class fees include all equipment and grounds hire and coaching across the all lessons, each of two hours duration. For times and prices click here.
