WELCOME TO WESTLAKES ARCHERS

Westlakes Archers is a non-profit archery club which practices Target and Field archery. We are affiliated with Archery New South Wales and Archery Australia. We are located in Lake Macquarie and are located not far from the M1 Freeway. We are about 90 minutes north of Sydney.

The field is located at Fassifern Oval, 51 Miller Road, Fassifern, 2283. It can only be accessed out of club days by members. Club days are the 1st, 3rd and 5th Sunday of the month.

Fassifern Oval and the surrounding bushland is owned by Lake Macquarie Council and under the care and control of Westlakes Archers Incorporated. The oval is used for Target Archery and the surrounding bushland is used for Field archery. The grounds are shared by two archery clubs (from different associations) who shoot on different Sundays.

Archery can be enjoyed by the whole family at all times of the year. Whatever your sex, age or ability there is some aspect of archery for you. It is a great way to make new friends.

The basic skills once mastered can lead to the discovering of pleasures and challenges of this sport which can be very exciting and offers equal opportunity for all.

The club conducts courses for beginners with qualified instructors, using safe, modern equipment. Later, expert advice is available when purchasing your own equipment.
